Well Child Policy

While we understand that children will inevitably share germs from time to time, our goal is to minimize the number of infections that are brought into the nursery and toddler areas. As parents, we all know how frustrating it is to have a child who is constantly coming home sick from nursery or school care. As a courtesy to other parents, and for the welfare of our children, we ask that you please do not bring a child to the nursery with any of these symptoms:

     • Elevated temperature
     • Diarrhea or vomiting
     • Contagious skin rash
     • Runny nose*

*Any discharge from the nose indicates there may be an infection. Allergies are the exception, and we may request that you provide a doctor's verification for our files.

If any of these symptoms are apparent, we ask that you keep your child with you to avoid exposing other children to infection. Please be aware that our caregivers have been instructed to turn away any children who are showing these symtoms at the time that they are dropped off. If you have any questions regarding health issues, please see the Children's Ministries staff.
