With the economic downturn, many people right here in our community are struggling to make ends meets.  Whether they need food for their families, a safe place to live, or extra support raising their children, people all around us need our help.  In addition to those experiencing financial hardships, others in our community could simply benefit from a little kindness and encouragement.  Providing fun, entertaining programs gives us the perfect opportunity to reach out, get to know our neighbors and show them they are loved.

As a church for the community, we strive to move beyond ourselves and allow God's amazing love to overflow to all those around us.  "Missions" doesn't have to mean going to another country - we can help others right here in San Mateo County!  No matter what gift God has blessed you with there is something everyone can do.  So, whether you just want to dip your toes in the water or you're ready to swim laps in the deep end, trust God to show you your talents, help you find the time in your busy routine, and move out of your comfort zone.  God will bless you more than you can possibly imagine!

     •      CALL Primrose Center (Christian Action Life Line) - provides food pantry assistance.

     •      Habitat for Humanity - builds simple homes with the help of the homeowner

     •      Help One Child: Mission to Children at Risk - supports families caring for children through foster care, adoption           and kinship care          

     •      Home & Hope - provides emergency shelter, meals and support for homeless families

     •      SpiritCare Ministry to Seniors - offers monthly worship services, Bible studies, one-on-one visitations for elderly           in long-term care centers and hospitals   

     •      Convalescent Home Ministry - we sing, bring God's Word and love to the elderly patients at Brookside Skilled           Nursing on a monthly basis      

     •      Young Life Mid-Peninsula - brings the good news to adolescents in a fun, teen-friendly way

     •      Farmers' Market - We host the Tuesday market in a church parking lot and provide a jump house and crafts for           children to enjoy
